Energy efficiency
and IoT platforms to support decarbonisation
This module highlights the importance of data collection and analysis , achieved through a single IoT platform that allows real-time monitoring of consumption and control of production processes for the purposes of the green transition .
The collected data, certain and verified, provide very valuable information on energy consumption , greenhouse gas emissions and any inefficiencies in production plants, and become the starting point for LCA analyses, Carbon Footprint, Energy Diagnosis, ISO 50001, sustainability reports and other strategic analysis tools.
Industry 5.0 also uses a human-centred oriented approach based on interconnection, artificial intelligence and 360° sustainability, drivers for the use of data in the field of decarbonisation.
Examples of training topics:
Measurement, monitoring and collection of reliable data
Action: choose the most suitable strategy to optimize energy consumption and production plants
Control IoT platforms to take control of your business

Reporting
Sustainability Report
The importance of the Sustainability Report
The sustainability report does not limit itself to collecting sustainability data and information at the end of a reporting period but provides information on present and future commitments, policies, risk assessments, impacts and potential financial damages , analyses that must increasingly be supported by facts.
This module presents the evolution of the methodological approach according to current legislation , indicating the operational steps and preparing the reference figures for the subsequent data collection.
Some examples of training topics:
Benefits and principles of sustainability reporting
GRI Indicators – ESRS
Sustainability reporting according to CSRD
Project steps
Focus on materiality analysis and dual materiality principle
